Unconfirmed reports say that the Star Package has returned to Comet Cable from last night. We hope that some of our bloggers will be able to confirm this to us.
Anyway the reason Comet Cable lost the Star Package is confirmed as non-payment of dues. According to information obtained from a source who wanted to remain anonymous, we are able to confirm this. The emails forwarded to us by this source out of which we have copied one below without revealing the names and email addresses, gives us the whole story. According to the email received last afternoon the discussions are continuing but it seems that things have worked out by last night. This is indeed great relief to the subscribers of Comet Cable.

This mail has lot of possibilities to be fake, just because it came from domain name @in.startv.com do not simply believe it, because there are so many ASP.NET, C# programs are there which can generate SMTP mails and send to a e-mail address making it look like it came from a particular domain address but if you send a reply to that address the owner of the address will deny that he/she never send such a mail.
If its true then you have to publish the complete email address of the startv.
Do not mislead people with fake mails. If you cant publish those complete e-mail address then its better to remove this fake e-mail.
This shows how narrow minded out sweet Admin is.He will do whatever to save DTV and was the happiest last few days when we the comet customers were suffering.,This e mail itself shows how stupid he is.Admin look up in the sky sit next to your dish and see whether the comet or the stars are more powerfull

TEN Sports, HBO Hits, Hallmark and NEO sports are NOT free to air. Idiot! only the religious channel is free to air. and the religious channels is a well advertised high quality channels. why else would they have good programming.

Just go to the DTV blog and have a look, its frightning to see the technical problems they have. I think i will never switch to DTV until all their tech problems are resolved. No cable tv on rainy days and pixalisation means latest technology????? oh god this scares me.... though analog commet is better for me. cos i dont care if it is analog or digital as long as i get crystal clear picture and dont get interrupted when raining. What i dont like in commet non availability of our favourite channels for a long time. other than that . its the best!
I hv noticed that for sometime channel 14(vh1) is not on stereo.The red light is not on.How can we tell them to give us Vh2 in stereo mode cos songs should be listen in high quality.Can anysuggest a way to tell the technical staff at comet??

yes discovery and animal planet is out. i called them they said there is an contractual issue which will be sorted out in 2 or 3 days ( it could take even a month as we experienced with star channels) iam annoyed.....
