Comet Cable Customers Have your say

Since Comet Cable is not having any problem with the recent Cable TV problems in our wonderful Sri Lanka. I would like to invite all the Comet Cable customers to make any posts of any Bad/Good experience you have had with Comet or would like to see any additional channels on or anything more you would like Comet Cable to do.

I wish that James Scobbie will be honest with the intentions of Comet Cable, rather than writing a lot of rubbish in his monthly editorials!!

Whatever the issues at Comet Cable, we as stakeholders in this venture, need to know what is happening!

I would like to see digital TV being introduced soon at LOWER MONTHLY charges, with broadband internet services being part of the package. I would also like to see/hear local/international TV/radio channels too.

But I guess this is only going to be a dream..................

Comet website is old as there technology. Never update proper bill state on the site. In second thought they never send an accurate bill. I pay online. Every month I get due back pay for last month what I have paid already. I had phone there billing department so many time to make it correct now I have give up.

i got my Cable guide for next month. horra for "James Scobbie" now i am getting it on time (befor month begains i say) not like old days. as usual i read what he have to say .. here is the top part of july what mr. scobbie had to say

ok guys i need help to understand this .. i read over and over. it look like he had to say sme thing what we already know.. in simple new manage ment took over year ago (that i already know cos i paid for digital decoredr year ago) and they still managing stuff to better of client. and he looking fwd for improment..

this stuff we all know .. how about you say somehting like when the digital service going to launched. or some new channels.. or broadband .. i dont see a point saying stuff we allready know in smart way :P

past year or so i saw the deferance is .. there no annoying big logos on the top screen ( i remember that garnear bottel animation..) and the cable guide in good print. everything else is same..

How come comet put their logo onto the channels ? I think this is crap. No cable operator does this and it's a real pain for the viewer too !

Please remove the Comet logo and please do not edit the original content of the channels.

We would like to state that Comet does not edit any programme or film. The Comet logo was used to stop unauthorized recordings of programmes.

Please indicate who you are and what your designation at comet is. We do not expect the companies to post anonymous messages. At least reduce the size of your logo if you cannot remove it.
